BTK Knee in Colorado

Monday, January 9th, 2012

Brian Bartlett recently attended a disabled skiing sports clinic in Colorado, and set up new user who had never used the knee before. The new user is the skier in the images, as you can see the knee was a success! This knee will get you or your patient back up onto the slopes using both legs.  The knee requires less energy and gives back more dynamic response so you or your patient can enjoy more of the mountain and more varied terrain for longer periods of time!

Get out there!

Technical Workshops: Tier 2 (Workshop 31)
High Performance Prosthetic and Orthotic Lamination using New Synthex™ Composite Fibers
Sponsored by: Fabtech Systems

In this workshop, learn about our new Synthex™ composite fiber, which has 10 times the impact resistance of carbon. The performance characteristics of Synthex™ fibers are perfectly balanced for use in prosthetic and orthotic composite applications. This workshop will demonstrate the new fiber and its unique properties and compare and contrast it to carbon, spectra, and other composite fibers commonly used in O&P. Also presented will be detailed lamination techniques, with an emphasis on reducing manufacturing costs. Speakers: Scott Wimberley, CTPO; Greg Mattson, CTPO
